The Plot

In the gritty streets of Chargeton, a fictional London borough known for its high crime rates, hope emerges from an unlikely source: the Chargeton Oaks basketball team. Richard Furzton and his childhood friend Walton join Chargeton College in 2015, balancing their studies with their dreams of basketball careers.

The Oaks are a mismatched group, struggling to overcome their differences and form a cohesive unit. Amidst internal conflicts and external pressures, Coach Lake must lead a conflicted team through a journey of transformation. As they face tough opponents on the court, they also battle personal demons and the ever-present threat of local gang violence that looms in the shadows of their City.

The Author

G Ali-Davey is a pen-name for the author. He is thirty years old and has been writing his whole life. He fell in love with basketball when he was eighteen, and his need to root for the underdog led him to the Minnesota Timberwolves. He is also a Milton Keynes Breakers fan.

He is not a good basketball player. When he plays, however, he takes the ‘scrappy three point shooter’ approach. So in other words - he fouls a lot, and misses a lot of shots.

We have a strict returns policy. We only accept returns if the item(s) are not as described, not on a size basis. We accept returns up to 7 working days after an order has been delivered.
